Kindr Script – Meeting Guidelines – Online

It is the wish of our Group Conscience that every addict be afforded the chance to share at this meeting, with this in mind, we ask that you please be mindful of the length of time you share for, my co-host ________ will be our Spiritual Timekeeper and we will set a 4 minute timer. You do not need to stop mid-sentence it is just a reminder to wind up your share and leave time for others to come in.

The Secretary shall call upon all members present to share in rotation, should you prefer not to share tonight please feel free to just listen.

Please be mindful of the language you use while sharing as it can be triggering for others especially around how you reference particular behaviours, drug use and hook up apps, for example.

If you wish to smoke or vape while at the meeting we ask that you turn off your camera while doing so.

While we encourage you to find identification with what others share, we remind you that cross-talk is discouraged when sharing, as it can create an unsafe atmosphere within the meeting. Cross talk is when someone comments directly or gives their opinion on what someone else has shared.

The chat facility is closed and will remain so throughout the meeting, it is possible to message the Host & Co Host but not everybody in the meeting.

I now invite you to share on tonight’s reading or meditation, your own experience, strength and hope in Recovery or indeed the 12 Steps in general.”

(the Secretary then calls on those present in the share in rotation)
